This leaves United without a senior left-back, adding to their defensive woes. Despite the setbacks, manager Erik ten Hag is hopeful that Mason Mount will be ready to start after playing 45 minutes in the last game. With no other senior left-backs available, Sofyan Amrabat may be forced to deputize in that position. Ten Hag has expressed confidence in Amrabat's abilities and believes he can contribute to the team.
