2023/09/29

According to a Premier League supercomputer, Manchester United is expected to struggle in the 2023/24 season. The supercomputer, used by football analysts at BetVictor, has already predicted the final table standings based on current form and league standings. Manchester City is the favorite to win the league, with an 82.5% chance of claiming their fourth consecutive title. They are also given a 99.5% chance of qualifying for the Champions League. Newcastle's 8-0 victory over Sheffield United catapults them into second place, with a predicted points total of 89.

Arsenal is tipped to finish third, while Liverpool, despite their strong start, has only a 4.6% chance of winning the title. Manchester United's erratic start to the season sees them predicted to finish eighth with no chance of winning the title and a slim 7% chance of qualifying for the Champions League. Chelsea faces a defeat against Aston Villa and falls to 13th place, with a 2.6% chance of relegation. Everton, after their first win of the season, is predicted to finish outside the relegation zone in 15th place. Luton Town, with their first-ever Premier League point, is expected to finish 19th with a 61.5% chance of relegation. Sheffield United faces a grim outcome, finishing in last place with a 93.9% chance of relegation.
